“The Octopus Garden”
Lamp
The Octopus Garden Lamp was inspired by the diaphragm of an octopus and is translated as a deconstructed suction cup. The skin of an octopus is adaptable to most changes of its' environment so for the light filters, the transparent and semi-transparent disks serve as representations of the characteristic and are hung to appear as if they are floating to at the flexibility and dexterity of an octopus arm.
“Cumulus”
Mirror
The Cumulus mirror was inspired by cloud 9 dreaming and the way one perceives themself as a construct of their imagination. The Cumulus mirror serves as a reminder that the viewers’ perspective is always subjective, similar to the way each person can interpret the shapes that occur naturally in the atmosphere.
“The Nook”

The Nook mirror was inspired by tree knots and the concept of a world beyond. A nod to cottage core design styles, this mirror poses the question of looking within and marveling at the wonders one cannot see with their eyes.
“Na’vi”
Planter
Na’vi is a planter inspired by the Avatar movies in which the indigenous people were physically and spiritually connected to the mother tree and the natural world. Foliage has a way of brightening a space and should be presented with the same attention as any other piece in a composed space, however because they live and breathe, it is imperative for their delicate details to not only compliment design but to enhance the natural beauty of natures’ perfect imperfections.
